Most Inclusive & Empowering Citizens City Award


The Most Inclusive and Empowering Citizens City Award praises the municipalities that have outstanding programmes, platforms and initiatives to engage the local community in the city’s management and support social causes.

We welcome nominations that showcase the best practices in using digital transformation to provide better opportunities for the local citizens to participate actively in the decision making process, to ease the use of diverse range of services and establish clear communication channel with the local government.

Eligibility

We welcome entries from municipalities and their leaders. Eligible candidate is a city which has launched effective digital transformation solutions and consumer technologies to engage and communicate with the citizens.

This includes various digital products, devices, applications and whole projects that are improving the public trust in government institutions and establishes transparent and easy communication.

The award entrants must demonstrate that the entry has been developed, operated or been available during and/or by the end of March 2018.

Criteria

The winner will be selected according to the following criteria:
- Level of interactiveness and technology implementation
- Functionality of the product/service
- Citizen feedback and engagement levels
- All entries must be operating and available during and/or until the end of March 2018.


Entry Deadlines & Key Dates

The Deadline for entries is May 15th 2018

Winners will be announced at the Webit Awards Ceremony in Arena Armeec on June 26th 2018
