IoT Smart Cities Award Award


The IoT Smart Cities Award recognized the municipalities who have implemented innovative IoT projects to strengthen and empower different aspects of their operations.

We welcome submission of successful use of IoT in efficient energy and resource efficient, traffic management, intelligent connectivity and security solutions.

Eligibility

We welcome entries from the private and the public sector. The following entrants are examples for eligible candidates, due to the nature of this award, it is by no means exhaustive:
- Municipalities and their leaders
- IoT Infrastructure Technology Developers
- IoT companies and their smart city solutions

The award entrants must demonstrate that the entry has been developed, operated or been available during and/or by the end of March 2018.

Criteria

The winner will be selected according to the following criteria:
- IoT solution technology
- Impact on resource management and efficiency
- Impact on improving citizens’ experience and life
- Citizen Feedback
- Impact on local businesses
- Impact on city’s infrastructure
- Economical benefit
- Business model and development plans of the IoT solution/implementation
- All entries must be operating and available during and/or until the end of March 2018.


Entry Deadlines & Key Dates

The Deadline for entries is May 15th 2018

Winners will be announced at the Webit Awards Ceremony in Arena Armeec on June 26th 2018
