Thomas Philbeck
Project Lead, Fourth Industrial Revolution, World Economic Forum
Thomas D. Philbeck is a Global Leadership Fellow and the project lead for the Fourth Industrial Revolution at the World Economic Forum. Before joining the Forum, Thomas served as assistant dean of the College of Arts and Sciences for the New York Institute of Technology, earned a PhD from Florida State University and an MBA from the Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) de Paris. His area of focus is the intersection between technology, society, business and philosophy. Ever the explorer, he has lived in the US, UK, Europe, Middle East and India working in various sectors. He enjoys painting, flying, science fiction and the cosmos.
